Costa Rica offers an ideal location for Ayahuasca retreats due to its natural beauty and relaxed atmosphere. The's culture is welcoming with "Pura Vida" being the country's motto, which translates to "Pure Life." The weather is consistently warm, with average temperatures around 85 degrees.

 

Please note that Costa Rica has two seasons: the winter green season (May-November) and the summer dry season (December-April). Each season has its own unique characteristics and appeal, so please plan your trip according to your preference, but remember Costa Rica is beautiful and comfortable year-round!

 

GREEN SEASON (May - November) Also known as the rainy season or 'low season' because of the lack of tourism, this time of year is lush and vibrant! Everything is super alive and we get the deepest greens you've ever seen. The mornings usually start sunny and the rain comes in throughout the day. You're typically able to find cheaper prices on flights, hotels and excursions. The downside is there are a lot more bugs this time of year and sometimes the rain can interfere with planned activities.

DRY SEASON (December - April) High season is peak time for tourism. It's wonderful because it doesn’t rain at all so we get clear skies, lots of sunshine and beautiful sunsets. The downside is that it's more expensive this time of year, it can be very hot, and most of the vegetation in the area dies, especially in March - April.
